Rio Madera is Spanish for “river of wood”, a fitting origin for a table that cannot be exactly repeated. Each top is hand-selected, its live-edge walnut river charting a course that belongs to that piece alone.
DETAILS
The walnut river runs through the center of the top in its natural contour, framed on either side by quartersawn walnut that gives the surface a cohesive, intentional finish without taming the organic character at its heart. Live edge flitches are made to order and hand-selected individually. Nevers works within careful guidelines, but the exact path of the grain, the width of the river, the subtle irregularities of the edge are nature’s to decide. Waterfall edges and dimensional stability bring the craftsmanship in line with the demands of commercial use, and the tops carry the same weight as standard veneer, so base compatibility is never a compromise. Available from 72″ to 240″ in length and 42″ to 53″ in depth, Rio Madera suits everything from an intimate meeting room to a full boardroom, wherever a space deserves something that couldn’t be ordered twice.
