Install Feature: Law Firm in DC

A Boardroom That Quietly Takes Care of the Room

There’s a moment in every long meeting when someone needs a cold drink, a place to set down their notes, or a power outlet that isn’t a reach away under the table. The best conference rooms anticipate all of it before anyone has to ask. That’s the quiet intelligence on display in this recent install of custom Nevers pieces at a Washington, DC law firm — a space where everything you’d want is already within reach, and most of it is hidden until you need it.

A boardroom table built for the long session

The centerpiece is a large Nevers conference table that runs the length of the room, finished in a crisp white top with a slim metal edge and grounded by warm wood base panels. It’s a study in contrast: the bright, clean surface reads modern and serious, while the wood underneath adds warmth and keeps the room from feeling cold or clinical.

Built as a modular run, a table this size has to look seamless while still being practical to deliver, install, and power. The result seats a full firm meeting comfortably and gives every chair a generous, uninterrupted work surface — exactly what you want when the agenda runs long.

The credenza that does more than store

Lining the wall is a long Nevers credenza in rift-cut white oak with handsome reeded door fronts and a glass top that matches the table. On its own, it’s a beautiful piece of millwork and a serious amount of storage. But the standout detail is tucked inside: an integrated refrigerator drawer, fully built into the casework, that slides open to a chilled selection of drinks without breaking the clean line of the cabinetry.

It’s a small touch that changes how a room feels to be in. Instead of a mini-fridge humming in a corner or a service cart rolled in mid-meeting, the hospitality is simply part of the furniture — there when you want it, invisible when you don’t. That’s the kind of detail that separates a conference room from a boardroom.

Meeting tables with the same DNA

The smaller meeting tables carry the design language through the rest of the space — the same white tops and warm wood, here on a sculpted curved drum base, set against floor-to-ceiling windows and a sweeping view of the DC skyline at dusk. Each one includes an integrated power and data module right at the table’s edge, so devices stay charged and connected without anyone crawling for an outlet. It’s the same idea as the boardroom, scaled down: beautiful first, effortlessly functional second.

The team behind the install

A project with this many custom elements depends on a partner who can get every piece placed, leveled, powered, and perfect. The install was handled by Office Interiors Atlanta, who brought the boardroom, credenza, and meeting tables together into a finished, move-in-ready suite.

Made in the USA, made to impress

Every Nevers piece here is made in the USA and built to hold up to years of daily use in a demanding professional environment. For a law firm — where the conference room is often the first thing a client sees — that combination of craftsmanship, hidden functionality, and quiet hospitality says a lot before anyone takes a seat.
