Founded in 1976, Nevers Industries is a second-generation, American-owned leader in American-made commercial furniture.
Our Roots
Nevers began in 1976 with founder Gerald Evenstad and a love of fine woodworking. The name and our earliest craft was inspired by the Nevers region of France & it’s inspiring oak work. From those beginnings he grew Nevers Oak into a nationally recognized name in meeting-room furniture, the company that became Nevers Industries.
A U.S. Army veteran who served in Vietnam, Gerry took deep pride when Nevers was later commissioned to build furniture for the U.S. Military, the Pentagon and the White House. That standard of elegant, exacting and built to last still guides everything we make today.
